I really like how the chords progressed in this one. The subtle waves in the background really give it a nice layered sound. Please make more :D

Ooh
Thank you for some more sleeping music. It was really great
Wow
This is quite amazing. At first I thought it was gunna be similar to a kingbastard style acoustic-electronic song.
I love that pad, very simple and perfect. I like using chords like that. I really want to know how you did those vocals. They're amazing. Reminds me of Radiohead on the Kid A album. Is it just layered?
The whole song is really layered. There is a ton of stuff going. I could listen to this over and over and find something new to marvel at each time.
Thanks for the review, man. You've got some awesome stuff.
Yeah, I love simplicity in pads. I also like taking something minimal and making it part of something much bigger.
The vocals: What you're hearing is a vocoder. I recorded myself singing the lyrics and added some chorus and distortion to that. The carrier is a simple 3xOsc saw-triangle-saw with no effects on it. I kept the modulator quite dry because I wanted to hear my native voice in the vox. On the vocoder, I played with the form a little bit so that it sounds like I'm singing with someone who has a higher voice, and the only effect on that channel is dblue glitch which was used for slight distortion, bitcrushing, retriggering, stretching, and slowdown.
I like being compared to Radiohead :D
Thanks again for dropping a review. I appreciate it. Glad you liked.
Been listening to this one for awhile...
I got it back when you put up your Hello-Fi album. Wow that must of been awhile ago, but damn that album is amazing...
yeah that was sometime in 2007 i think:D this is a slighly revamped version production-wise:) Cheers for reviewing man,
interesting
I like the piano in the beginning. It was written very well, something I can't do XD. I think it would sound better with a fuller sounding piano. Take off whatever EQ you did on the piano.
The rockout groove part was cool. I like the distorted guitarlike-synth. It definitely added towards the songs sound. I like when the drums pickup and you can really feel the groove, near the end.
I think this is really missing something. You say your writing lyrics. Maybe the addition of vocals could help fill in the mix. Overall the song is very good and well made. It's not my favorite by you, but its close.
I thought eqing the highs on the piano brought it out more...
Yay! :D
Hey buddy, you finally got accepted :)
I love this song. I don't know what the other guy that reviewed this is talking about, I think it flows really nicely. It shows the best of the vectormix game's music. You stayed close to the original well still changing it up a bit.
So yeah, you should keep making music, and we can do an awesome collab soon, also we need to have a band practice soon ;)
Very Nice
Wow this beat is really nice. I love that little sample going through the song. The beat sounds nice, but i think you should work on EQing and mixing a bit more. The song is a bit crippled by this. First of all, i think you should add a subbass into the mix. Its missing low frequencies.
The rapping is good. Also th singing is nice too. Very professional sounding. I could definitely hear this playing on the radio.. well maybe a bunch of years back. Just keep at it guys.
we'll talk to our producer about that, but thanx for the review my dude.
ejay
Wow, what a classic!
Haven't heard this song in quite sometime. Its brings me back. It still hard to believe this is from 2003. That's before i ever started making music. Makes me feel real young.
I love how fixed everything is. Its really tight. Especialy when the drums cut out at 0:50. I just love that.
makes me feel real old
I'm quite pleased with this re-master, sounds miles better than the original, and about a thousand times better than in the animation where it was crushed beyond all belief:P
Cheers for the review man.
Not bad, acutally really good
Hey SBB, its been awhile since I've reviewed you, or anyone at all. I'm on a roll right now. And damn, how the hell do you manage to get so many reviews on all your songs? I'm lucky to get 2.
Anyways about the song. Its really dreamy. Its like something I'd hear in a crazy dream, flying through another world or something. (Yeah that's how creative I am) My favorite thing about this, are those chord stabs. They sound awesome. You can hear them good around 5:03, which is also my favorite part.
I love the classic saw leads. Almost like you took an old synthesizer, drowned it in water, picked it back up and shook it dry, but it broke. So you used reason to make a saw synth lead. The arps sound nice, and again those stabs are awesome.
Anyways about the drums are really cool. You have your owned kind of sound nowadays. If I hear this kind of song, I think of your music. Its very 80s like, but still modernized. The snare sounds like you ripped it from some hair metal band and put it in a pool of reverb, which is a compliment by the way ;)
The other drowns sound nice and in place. My only problem was with the kick. Kicks sound good with reverb if you want a really drowned sound, like far way. Maybe you would use it for an intro, then bring in a kick with less reverb for the main sound, but it was the same kick the whole time. I guess I'm just nitpicking, but whatever.
My only other problem was that you seemed to be playing with us a lot. I know your suppose to 'chill' with the song, but I kept getting excited for some kind of bang near the end, but nothing really amazing came. Again, I'm nitpicking..
Anyways you've improved much from last time. Keep doing what your doing. You seem pretty popular these days.
Reminds me of of a trance breakdown.
Very dreamy sounding
Beginning lead sounds classic
I like the 80s-esque snare.
Too much reverb on the kick drum.
Around 5:03, it sounds amazing
