Great

I really liked the slow paced of this song. It really kind of relaxes is me. Almost like a light rap beat. Wouldn't really say dnb though, because of the tempo.

I really liked this song though, its really relaxed. The beat was rather interesting. Different instruments used throughout it kept it fresh. The low sine bass was great. I love a good low bass sound.

Great work on this track man

Thanks for the vote and review!

Fucking godly

Ahh man I fucking love this song. This is a some sick DnB right here.

I love that bass line with the glitchy effects all around it. The drums keep it very intersting in there changing effects. Whenever I listen to this it reminds me a lot of an Aphex Twin(Caustic Window) song called Fantasia, but with more DnB influence.

Well man keep up the good work and congrats on the gold =)

thanx mate :) ill have to check out the afx song you spoke of.

Pretty good

Hey Syntrus, haven't seen you around these parts in awhile. Hows it been man? Well anyway on to the review...

I dug this song. I liked the nice and slow beat. The melody was pretty good and flowed nicely. The different beats were nice and kept it interesting.

It was pretty simplistic to my taste. The synths were a bit bland as well. It didn't seem to go anywhere either.

Well I can't say this is my favorite from you, but it was pretty decent. It needs a bit of work and it could be better.

Syntrus responds:

yah holy shit wtf happened to me...

Awesome man

Wow, my ears just went on an acid trip through the amazing song you created. I love this kind of music man. I'm listening over and over again. Bit sorta reminds me of Boards of Canada

The melody great. All leads and harmonies fit good. The bass is a nice low sine tone and fits perfectly. The beginning bells were great and the synth was good. All the effects and pads fit greatly.

The drums were tailored perfectly and fit really nicely. Very interesting effects on the drums. I liked the samples as well. The beat was interesting too.

I loved the progression too. It moves about perfectly and builds up nicely. Really good job on this song man. I hope to hear more like this =)

Glad to have another fan of this style of music on the site.
Catch ya. thanks!

Hmmm nice

Hey stealth, I haven't check out your tracks in a long time. So I guess now is a good time to look =)

I liked this song. Darn shame you can't finish it. The beat was a very vibrant and had an almost industrial sound to it. You used some pretty good samples for it.

The beginning lead was good and the melody was nice too. The pitch changing synth I found a bit annoying but I think could stay with a volume change. The second melody part I liked. The bass was nice and simple.

I guess it looped pretty good. Its really too bad you can't finish it, because I really liked it.

Ah well...

Stealth-Emergence responds:

Wow thanks man, yeah I wish I could finish this piece, I had more ideas for what else to do with this :(

Damn Windows grrrr :'(

Peace Out!

I love it

Wow, this is a really deep track. This song is very relaxing and calm. I have always loved this kind of ambients. It really reminds me of something from Aphex Twin off the Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2 cds. I do a bit of ambients myself, some much like this.

The beginning weird drum FX that went throughout the entire song were cool and gave it an original touch. The chords on that pad were great. The progression on it was even greater. Slow moving and evolving much like you said.

I would like to have seen a possible lead instrument or a light drum beat, but I think it might have taken away from the entrancing pad already there.

Good work on making a peaceful ambient song. Keep up the good work man

Tome89 responds:

Aphex Twin is my favourite artist.
I can't tell which track this sounds like though. A combination of Lichen, Grey Stripe and White Blur 1? Perhaps ^^

As for lead instruments and drums - I'm a real minimalist. I like subtle, "extra-ambient" ambient.

Thanks for the Review, SineRider!

Very Peaceful

Wow man, this is a very peaceful song. I really liked how I seemed chaotic yet laid back at the same time.

The melody was really well done. It vaguely reminds me of something, but I can't put my finger on it. The synth was a really cool sound. It was nice to hear something different then the normal pad. The sine lead was very good, and the amount of harmonies were nice to keep the song interesting.

I know this is still a demo, but I think you should add a light bass to it. Just so it isn't mostly highs and mids. I could imagine a possible drumbeat in here, but I think it might take a lot away from the beautiful melody. Also watch out for clipping when too many instruments are playing. I heard a bit of clipping.

Overall I'm looking forward to the full version now =) Great job

-SineRider

mayby you could review my song sometime =) lol

EchozAurora responds:

Yeah, the clipping is hard to avoid, because it is a very CPU-intensive instrument. I used 3 and my computer flips out when they come in together. I'll probably clean up the finished file with another program when it is done.

I dug it

Before I start this review, I have to say I'm not really a big fan of techno, but I can enjoy a good hard pumping track.

The intro started very smoothly. It set the mood for the rest of the drums and bass to come in. I'm not entirely sure, but for some reason the intro synth sounded a bit off with the bass. It just be my speakers or something though.

The beat was very good. A nice basic techno beat, overlayed with a couple interesting aspect. I liked the toms in the drums.

The melody was very well done. It kept the song interesting throughout the entire song, and the bassline was nice and strong.

I really liked the breakdowns in the middle and ending of the song. It was nice to see you change up the formula of the song.

Overall great song guys. Hmm, I wonder who you are? =)=)=) <3<3

Critical-Collision responds:

Thank You SineRider for reviewing fos us, again! it's really appreciated

We're glad you like it, yeah we wanted to try and change it up to keep it interesting to listen to.

Keep on wondering ;)

Thanks

Wow man

This is totally kick ass.

Pretty cool mate

I dug this song man. I wouldn't really say it sounded like aphex twin though. Mayby like Aphex twin midi file lol.

The drums were really well done. But your missing a big aspect of the track. Which happens to be a bass part. The melody was a kind of annoying, same with the synth.

Pretty good song keep worknig at it man.
