:) I'd respond with a long response, but I can't really comment on anything you said, lol.
Thanks for the review.
Ah nice
Hmm man, seems you do pretty good in the ambients field. The main melody was very well done and calming. The begining light pads were nice except a tad bit off tune, Hardly noticable though. Same with the louder second bakround pad, it soudned really cool but a bit off tune. Keep working at it man you doing pretty good. =)

oh shit! i didnt notice this!
thanks for the kind review sir! also, good job on the audio comp!
Nice ambients
The calmness of this trak really helps at setting the mood for the rest of the song to progress. The addition of a vocal part to it really made it more interesting. The light beat and low bass mixed with pads and an occasional fx sound was a perfect set up for a nice abient song.
I don't really know much about the formula you used but it seemed to work out pretty good. A good addition to my ambients playlist.

This was just a bunch of different time signatures all overlayed - just a measure or two of drums of each - the notes were generated in a pseudo-random way - the vocals ... well that's another story.
Thanks!
Holy shit
This song is real cool. I don't think I ever would have thought of having string based percussion before. I liked all the crazy effets and glitchs in the guitar parts and the percussion. Everything is awesome about this song and I have nothing else to say.
-SineRider
Hey there - thanks for the review!
I liked it too... :D
Glad that you listened to it - now if only I could get another 483 people to download it.
Ahh very nice
Wow I am pretty impressed. This song is very good. Remidns me of something that yo uwould hear in a video game or soemthing. It almsot has a bit of an asian vibe to it. I liked the melody and the basslines. The beat was good but a bit soft. I think it was a dideridoo or something with distortion sounded pretty cool. The tempo change mid song was a very nice touch. Almost like a two parted song. Now I don't have much advice to give. Except at times it seemed a bit crowded like around the begining. Keep making tracks and I'll keep listening.
Thanks for your vote, SineRider! You voted 5 for Glacial Clarity, raising its score from 3.75 to 4.00.

sweetness. Thanks alot man^_^
Wow man
I really don't remeber you being this awesome man. I'm not entirely sure why I liked this piece so much. Almost like techno-classical mix. This really reminded me of something I have heard of before, yet I can't put my finger on it.
The melody I think was the best part of. I love a good melody throughout a song. The harmony from the stings were good. The bassline was superb. Same as the piano.
My only beef with the song probably is the drum beat. I know it was supposed to be a techno song but I would have liked to have seen a more diverse drum beat and better samples.
Keep at it man your doing great. I'll check back every once and awhile and see your new stuff in the future :D

thnx dude!!!
i'm tryin out some new beats i'm tired of it as well...
thnx for the review man!!!
MMmhh Soundsape-ish
this track really blew my mind. I had a nice feeling within as the song progessed unlike most ambient songs I hear around these parts. Each and every instrument helped create its very own musical atmosphere with intranced me to keep listening through and through again. I really could imagine an underwater world or some kind of futuristic type place. You sucessfully created a full embracing soundscape with what your musical mind has boared. For that you get my condolences.

Oh crap, big words!!!
-Anyways, I really didn't expect to get this great reaction from people from you. Thank you to all of you! This is truly an honor to have such great artists like you on Newgrounds : D

Great
Sorry man tok me so long to get to this review. Well here it goes I guess.
I assume that you had this in your head when you were making the melody and bass line. It seems like it fit better then msot of hte MRAC songs I have heard.
Well the melody was ok and bassline were good, the drums are what really shine in this song. Every drum was accounted for and went great an the effects on them were a nice touch.
I liked the tempo change at the middle, it realyl gave it some character.
Only thing is it seemed like it was lacking something. Like some kind of backround sound, as it was a bit empty.

btw is this a contestant in the contest or just an example of what you can do with the piece?
Exhibition piece = just the opening to the show. not an entry piece. yes, just to show what you can do
Oh shit
Holy fuck man this is sick. Very cool mix of heavymetal and dnb. I wouldnt of thought of something like this. Very god guitar playing. The only thing is where it stops with nothing except the guitar part, I would have liekd to see liek a drum beat or soemthing to back it up so it isnt as empty.
Great collab none the less dude. Keep it up man hehe
LOL
I uploaded the wrong file.
omg i'm an idiot.
ahhhhh lolololol
Thanks for the review, I'm still slapping myself
Ah pretty cool
Well techno not being my favorite genre, I can say I liked this song. It is pretty original. Not like alot of the other techno I usually hear on this site. so that is big points to you.
Now down to the nitty gritty.
The main sawtooth synth you chose as your main melody synth was nice but i'm not a big fan of sawtooths. The flute-like synths had a nice harmony throughout the song and I really liked it. The bass simple and effective. The various other synths that build up the track were great. But the drum beat sounded a bit quiet almost hard to hear behind the rest of the song. I think this deserves a better beat.
The key change in the middle of the song was a bit sketchy. I think it would have been better without it being it was a bit choppy.
Well thats about wraps up my review.

Thanks. I was considering a better beat. I listened to it like that once or twice but felt that it sorta took away from the smoothness of the rest of the instruments. And you're probably right about the key change, cause I had a little bit of a drum roll thingy to lead up to it, but I had turned down the volume on it. Oh well. Maybe I'll make another version sometime ^^
Thanks for the review!
