Cool

I really am digging this song. It has a really different sound to it. Actually it sort of reminds me of some kind of movie theme.

Interesting drum line throughout the song. I liked the gong noise that went on. Thats a real nice guitar tone too.

Unfortunately the guitar, I think is too loud at some moments and too quiet at others. Maybe a little less reverb too, it made the mix a little muddy.

The drums start to pick up a bit too which I liked.

I think there could have been more down to the guitar part. Maybe a rhythm guitar underneath the lead guitar to give it that extra sound.

I don't know if there was a bass part to it, it may just have been intertwined so well I didn't notice it, but it would give it an extra sound if it had one.

I'm sorry this has such a low score, more people should check this out, s'good.

it was very hard to mix this with the surround sound effects that i used on this. i'm glad you liked it though.

Trance

Not really into trance. Its not really that amazing or special. But it does what you would think.

The beat is fine, the bass is off-beat good. The melody is interesting.

Just try do something more original with it ok

Thanks! I thought it was pretty good, but im not everybody :P Thanks again!

(im not much of a reviewer so that's why I leave it shor)

Hmm

Well, I liked the original, without the trance part better. I think that part was unnecessary and sort of ruined the song for me.

But anyways, I liked the synths a lot. Definitely had the trance sound. The second one was a bit weird but fits I guess.

I liked the tempo change and breakdown in there. But daamn man. Where were those drums. Your like egging us on, then disappointing us.

Boom tiss boom tiss boom tiss cheecheecheehceecheecheecehee chssoooo...

Needs some work but still seems promising to me.

SolusLunes responds:

Oh, fine, fine, you'll get your drums.

*grumbles*

This is not gonna be a fun bit to do :D

The weird synth, are you talking about the square wave? Because I think it sounds pretty damn good there. :D

Love it

I love that percussion in the beginning. THe melody was quite nice too

Well I reviewed the older version of this before. So take a lot of that one, but remove all the bad quality parts and the cut off end and you get your review XD

Never really liked techno

I never really liked techno. But this song is pretty interesting.

I really liked the choir singing in the beginning. It surprised me that it was a techno song from the intro.

The drums I think are the biggest problem. The pattern is fine. But the samples need EQing and effects to give it that real techno sound you know.

The bass was fine did its job. The other synths were a bit basic for my taste but did there job as well.

For someone that does Metal most of the time you did pretty good on this

-SineRider

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man! I don't really agree on the drums. I had a really high res, punchy sound with a bit of echo, that I eq'd for "techno". But it just didn't fit. Probably just my taste..it sounded too ...Fruity. haha. So I heavied them up a bit and was much happier with this sound. But you are right, as far as techno goes, its not really UBER techno ish.
The synth was pretty basic..I hammered out a riff on my guitar to go with it, and transferred it to keyboard..and didn't really get busy with it. I spent maybe half an hour making this...which for a metal head...is half an hour I'll never get back..haha. I just wanted to try it out. Thanks for your kind words. Glad you don't really like techno either..hahaha.

Bastard

You bastard, you totally stole my song name >8(Rofl, I don't care, especially when the song is this good.

Its a very bare track and simplistic. Minimalistic, and I like it. You definitely got soundscape mood to it. Some of my old tunes are like this. I love that lush pad sound mixed with the strange FX sound.

I guess only thing I didn't like was how short it was and it was almost too barren.

Expand dude >:)

-SineRider

SolusLunes responds:

FINE!

You all up on's mah back, makin's me expand on songs... grumble grumble, grarh.

I don't know why I made this, I don't know why I spent so much time on the instruments, and I also don't know why THERE ARE ONLY TWO DIFFERENT NOTES ON THE PIANO ROLL!!!

Well... I know why the last one.
Awesomeness, thy name is arpeggio.

I probably will expand, no set timeline or nothin', but it'll probably stay minimalistic. BUT since you're such a bitch, I might make it three notes on the piano roll. Happy?

Soundtrack

Very cool soundtrack atmospheric ambient piece. It was very quiet, but really creepy. Reminds me of some artists I've listened to before.

I do agree that more could have came out of this, but still very cool as it is.

Thanks for your vote, SineRider! You voted 5 for .:5:., keeping its score at 5.00.

RedHotPoker responds:

Thanks for the 5-ening. Which artists do you mean? I want to do some research as to how they can get more into there music. If you could can you Pm me with names. Thanks.

Cool

Hmm is that a real guitar playing there? If so then kudos. I like to add guitar to some of my ambient stuff too.

Very chill and atmospheric piece. I could nearly taste the reverb on that guitar. An interesting yet simple idea.

There were times where the guitar was had so much reverb I could barely tell what was going on. so watch out on the amount of reverb you put on your instruments.

I sort of wished there was a bit more then just guitar. Some background pads, possible a glitchy beat and a bass of some sort.

good work anyway

-SineRider

LfunkeyA responds:

thanks for the review. i will take your note into consideration- i definitely need to work on the reverb a little. all of this is live acoustic guitar, with a quiet bass in the background (i need to balance the sounds out next time). because im using a crappy cheap mic (maybe less that 10 euro)the quality is not top notch, but luckily FL allows me to smooth it out. Anyways, keep it up.
