[Halo--High Charity]

Cool man

You really nailed down the whole Halo-esque ambients there. I can just imagine, walking down a dark corridor, scared shitless, because I don't know when I'm going to get attacked.

The beginning, was probably the worst part of the song. The piano chords were way off tune with the strings.

The next ambients part of the song was done extremely well. You successfully created a great atmosphere, very much like halo.

When the second halo melody came in, it gave it a very nice ending.

Overall great piece, except for the begining piano chords.

I thought that the off-tune piano added to the whole feel of depredation and decay (I could probably justify any mistake I make). I guess I was wrong :( Glad you enjoyed it, though. I thought of adding more to it, making it like a "suite" from Halo 2 Vol. 2, but my skills fall short of my grand vision...maybe later. Plus, it was already big enough as it was.

The synth sucked lol they sounded like they were comeing out of my ass. The melody was fine. The bass needs to be louder you fool>:(

The drums kiked ass with the drums and different effects. S'all good.

Get a vst or somethin, jeebus christ

The synth was just the bass up two octaves with a different melody. I had to cheat the version of Live I have in order to have both bass and a lead. Glad you liked the drums though.

Nice

I always loved this song from the game. IT always gave me chills, and fills me with fun memory's of the game.

You did a great job of recreating it. I haven't heard the real version in awhile, but it sounds pretty much perfect to me.

Next time try to do something original with it though, So it is more of a remix.

I couldn't think of anything original to do. If anything, I wanted to get nearly the EXACT same song, but the odd strings in the beginning of the original just defied my very comprehension, as I already stated. Plus, this was just the "fleshed-out" version of a MIDI that I submitted to VGmusic.com, so I did want to keep it like the original.

Thanks for the review, though. It means a lot coming from an AF reg and musician such as yourself.

omg solo lol. Whats with the fake guitars though? It was pretty sick though. But you get like a guitar and play the parts it would be so much cooler. Great remix. Remiinds me of megaman for some reason, even though its yoshi.

This was a pretty slamming remix dude. But the synth was mad fucked up dude. It started to mess up my speakers. The drums were good. You recreated it really goodly.

lol yea ill cheak it in a min. about the synth. it isnt the synth that is doing that it is the bass. turn ur sub down and u wong get the popping sound that i get when i crank up my sub. i cant fix it till i get a better sound card tho. it dosnt sound like that until after i export...

Nice

Nice short song. I do a bit of DnB myself and I quite enjoy the genre.

The drums were nice low and quick. The different effects on the drums gave it nice character. The robot voice in the beginning was annoying lol. The synth in the beginning was a cool sound and really set up the rest of the track. The bass as good.

I hope to see more from you guys. I'll check back when you get varafied =)

Almost there

Well I just listened to the whole song. The entire melody is way off from the real song. You going to want to listen to the real version so you can get the real melody in your head before making the song.

The amen break in the beginning of the song was a cool touch. I always love a good amen break song. But it went all downhill by the time the melody broke in. As stated before the melody was horribly wrong. The drums were great throughout the entire song.

I actually liked the sound of the first synth. It had a nice sound, same as the piano. But the fucked up melody kind of ruined them. The rest of them were not as great.

Fix the melody and you will have a pretty good song.

Wow dude

Wow dude, I didn't think you made songs like this. The shear complexity of the track is enough deserving of a 10. Sounds much like Autechre and afx. This is probably some of my favorite types of music. I think I may have found my new favorite ng song.

The glitchy drums and sound effects in the beginning were done amazingly. The low bass effets was real cool. When the lead flute sounding synth came in, it really made me like the song even more. The sine pad was a really nice touch as well.

Man I would really like to hear more tracks liek this from you ^_^
